Recently, I was clicking through folders and folders of early photos of our kids. From baby age to the present, I just got lost in it for hours. How good it was to recount the memories, the places we had visited and I just couldn’t hold back giving God the glory for the good things He had done in our family.
Towards the end, a certain photo stopped me in my tracks. You see, over 2yrs ago, our eldest daughter moved to Perth to follow God’s plan for her life. While Cindy and I daily still miss her, we are so excited that she is in God’s perfect will – we just wish she was on this side of the country fulfilling it. In the emotion of missing her, the memory flooded back and I just couldn’t hold back the tears.
They weren’t tears of sadness, but tears of gratefulness, excitement and love all rolled up in one. It was almost too much. It was in that moment that God spoke these words into my heart…. “The way you feel now is the way I feel about every person on this planet.”
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them
Whether you believe it or not, that is how God sees you. He not only loves and adores you but guess what… He wants to use you if you are willing.
